My name is Adam Niven, and I am the founder and content creator behind PropFirmForex. I built this site to be genuinely helpful above all else, focused on sharing clear, honest information, practical tools, and simple, yet effective side by side comparisons you can rely on, without the hype, pressure, or hidden agendas that I’ve found are all too common in this space.
Background
I’ve spent 25+ years in IT across customer service, systems admin, projects and sales, so I know how tech, process and people fit together in real life. I’ve been trading crypto on live markets since 2019, and I stay close to the industry through contacts with prop firm leaders and experienced traders. Their insights have been crucial in developing my understanding of what matters most when it comes to assessing prop firms.
A strong customer-service mindset has always been at the core of how I work. Whether managing systems, running projects, or working in sales-focused roles, my priority has been understanding real needs and delivering solutions that actually make sense. That balance between technical depth, clear communication, and outcome-driven thinking is what shapes how I approach PropFirmForex. Everything here is built with usability, clarity, and trust in mind, not sales pressure.
Why This Website Exists
As the prop trading space has grown, so has the number of firms entering the market. Some are well run and trader focused, while others rely on unclear rules, poor communication, or payout practices that make it difficult for traders to succeed. This makes it especially challenging for newer traders to know who to trust.
PropFirmForex was created to help make sense of this landscape. The site exists to reduce confusion and provide a clearer view of how prop firms actually compare, using information that traders can verify and understand.
All information on this site is gathered from prop firm websites and publicly available sources. You cannot sign up to a firm directly through PropFirmForex, but you can use the information here to decide which firms are worth considering before visiting their official sites.

How Reviews Are Approached
The goal is not to promote specific companies, but to create a reliable reference point for traders.
Affiliate relationships are clearly disclosed, and reviews remain independent of any partnerships. Each firm is assessed using the same criteria, regardless of size or reputation, and based on my Methodology. Terms, rules, and trader feedback are manually reviewed to understand how firms operate in practice, not just how they present themselves.
